They eat fish, so fish (make sure the fish is dead before you feed it to the crab) and other meaty food - cockles, muscles, etc.

Active fish may be ok during the day, but when it gets dark and they rest/sleep, they become a late supper for any crabs. So, no you can't keep fish with them!

I picked up some crabs in the tropics once and they lived amazingly well under normal conditions. But beware keep them away from penicillin because that does kill them

i kept tropical crabs with my fish, you need fish that mainly live in the middle to top layers of your tank and are fast swimmers( danios, tetras) . try to avoid fish with long fins such as guppy's as they like to nip at the fins. they will eat what flakes your fish miss or any dead fish on the bottom. make sure you have a good secure lid on as they escape and there good at it.
