is the "league of american poets" a scam? what about their poetry contest?

if it's anything like poetry.com it is a scam. Every time I've submitted a poem I've been told that I won a prize that was worth a lot of money and that the poem was published in their beautiful leather bound book. The whole scam is that they are trying to sell books for $70 full of poetry they got for free.
