Is it a sense of inferiority that makes white people hate black people?

There are good and bad people of all races and religions. there are alot of generally peace loving and friendly people from all races. My question is primarily to those who make an effort to insult African Americans on Yahoo answers. African people created mathematics, astronomy, masonry, monotheism, irrigation, medicine and many other things including civilization itself! Is the truth that you must keep African Americans down to keep yourselves up?

to all those who want to deny African contibutions to humanity, why dont you study world history from an objctive point of view.

your denials of African American Achievements only prove my point! that point is that when African people knew the rotations of the stars white people thought the world was flat. keeping African people ignorant of their history is classic diabolical tricknology!

A white woman once told me that the reason some white people don't like black people is because they don't trust us. Some of them feel that if we ever have the opportunity, we will pay them back for slavery.

I have been black for over 40 years, and I have never heard a black person say anything like that. We want the same thing as everyone else. Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness!!

Africans may have had their own versions of these acheivements, but they weren't the only ones. The same things cropped up independently all over the world, without any influence from Africa. So the stance of racial superiority that you're trying to push is largely unfounded.

As for white people having a sense of inferiority? Holy s.hit that's so misguided, it's laughable. If you isolate your view to just the US, you'd be hard pressed to convince anyone of a white inferiority complex because WHITE PEOPLE OWN EVERYTHING!

Then again, black guys do have larger penises....

Seriously, the reasons for hatred are legion. I don't think you can conveniently pigeonhole such things into one tidy little package. Focus on the love my brother.

No. Stupidity is why white people hate blacks, black people hate white people, this religion hates that religion... I agree with what u said about Africans philosophers and how they changed civilization, but be careful!!! Lets go back to the top for a sec- whites hating blacks. Well, what happens when whites hate whites? I'm of Irish descent. The Irish (much like like Africans) saved and taught sciences and philosophy during a period where England and must of Europe burned these books... Then those cultures eventually saw these Irish folks as dirt and treated them as such. Hell, the Irish side of my family was sold in NYC as slaves when they landed there during the civil war. So yeah- racists are stupid so get your head on and curse those rat bastards. (sorry for any spelling mistakes- in a rush my friends)

I think there are people everywhere that will always hate black people. It is how you react to the hate that makes it continue or stop. And it is the behavior of a lot of the youth that continues the hate.

For me it is the behavior and not the race that may cause me to dislike people. Unfortunately today there are so many black artists promoting hate and too many young black males that follow.

A "gang fight" was filmed in front of my house two months ago which put my child at risk. All 30 of the kids were black. I feared for my life. A local black radio station started a riot down my street 2 days later. I was never prejudice toward black people until that day.

I am really struggling to feel safe and like black people again. It is upsetting because I give everyone a fair chance when I meet them. I was never taught to hate, yet because of the behavior of a few, my thoughts have been altered.

Like I stated before, it is not the race but their actions. And right now there are too many unsupervised youth giving all black people a bad name.

The kids that are causing most of the problems do not have daddy at home. Mom has a new "uncle" every week and usually holds down several jobs to make ends meet.

Please don't be upset about my answer because I am only telling you the truth about my opinion. A lot of my "girlfriends" are black and my dear neighbor that we have "adopted" and take care of is black. My neighbor across the street is black and says she hates a lot of her own kind because of their behavior. It makes it harder for them to get ahead in life. (She is a teacher and he is a pilot) I was shocked when she told me that. I always thought black people stood up for each other.

Good luck to you. You sound intelligent. I believe that if you conduct yourself in a manner that is respectable, you will get the same back from people. If you go around angry about "life isn't fair" then no one will give you respect and you will never dig yourself out of your own hole.

You are only kept down if you allow yourself to be. There are too many "black" people out there who pushed through and made something of themselves. They didn't allow the opinions of others to keep them down.

I feel is a way of superiority instead than inferiority. And you must give up studying Afrocentric papers, black men and women did not created all that. And truthfully no longer a unmarried institution can claim they created whatever, however so much men and women record the finest achievers. Mathematics, I feel had been the Arabs. Ok, first:

Africans did not "create" all of these things. African cultures and society added greatly to these things, as did most cultures.

Secondly:

People who have a need to attack others for race, religion, etc. tend to do so out of a lack of real understanding of those they attack. So, it isn't necessarily to keep themselves up as it is fear of that which they truly do not understand.
