I think what you might be seeing are sights that offer MAME for other devices than just the PC. Mame can be ran on the PC, XBox, PlayStation Portable, and Pocket PC's. I'm sure others also but those I know of.Each would be a console. So I think your seeing mame for the PSP.

PSP Play Station Portable. It only makes sense because it's so small.... u can take it anywhere!

It is
Playstation Portable.
It plays movies and Playstation games.
Down side is you have to buy the games and movies that are made for it and can't use the ones that you have. Maybe one day they will have an addapter that will make that possible.

it should be playstaion plasma because of its thiness and large screen but it means playstation portable
