Are you kidding? What freedom? I am stuck in this house all day long and go nowhere. This is, of course, of my own choosing, so if I were asked to give up the freedom to stay home and do nothing all day, I would tell them to kiss my a**. But, seriously, I would not give up my freedom without a fight. American people enjoy a freedom that could never be taken away, I hope.

Living with my partner and having 2 kids I don't get much freedom so what bit I get I would fight tooth and nail to keep

The tense of the question is wrong, it should be past tense.
the answer is another question: "How did you respond when the Patriot Act was enacted?"
