Unfortunately....girl....it will....let me tell you from working part-time in college...depending on what type of part-time position it is...you will have to mostly work nights and weekends and probably all those odd hours nobody else wants to work thats just par for the course as I have heard people say. There are though a couple jobs that won't consume up your life working part-time and can still make a decent income. One such job is working at a Bank...you can be a teller part-time and it is days only and usually like good hours like 12-3 or 10-2 something like that when the bank is the most busiest they hire part-time tellers to assist in servicing customers. Also I worked for a telemarketing company and it was fun and it was just like set your own hours as you wanted to. I loved it......I only made like 7.00 an hour but I could go to college when I wanted to and then I could go to work when I wanted......great job for college students!!!!! Even Substitue teaching would be a good option you don't have to have a teaching degree and the job is low stress and days only...and they call you...and you decide if you want to accept filling in that day for a teacher or not.
Just stay clear of retail(clothing stores, mall stores), waitress jobs(mostly nights) and FAST FOOD!!!!!!
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

depends on the hours. Part time like 8-13 hours/week or part time like 18-25?. And do you have school as well?
My part time job did, either i only worked an 11-7 shift (kills your day) or 4-9 split up every day of the week.
I really hated the mid-shifts, yes you get to sleep in a bit, but then you get off and your day is shot.
