i have a huge teddy bear collection all in perfect condition and want to give them to someone who needs them. the local hospitals wont take them as they have too many. any suggestions?

In my state the State Police carry some in their car so if there is an accident with a child involved, they can give the child the Teddy bear.

You might try your local police/sheriff to see if they would be interested.

I would try the red cross, and any charities available in you're town. =] That's sweet of you to give away you're teddies. I still got mine but when I have children I'll pass them on.=]

I know head start will be glad to take them, at least around here they will. and they give them to the little kids there. Or maybe the police or ambulance dept.s will. I have seen them give them to the kids that are hurt or that are scared.. that would be a nice way to get rid of them.. Or even I will take them....lol. hope you find someone that will take them and give them to a good cause....GOOD LUCK......

save them until Christmas time and give them out to needy children they will be a blessing and I am sure you will find someone then that will take them
