I don't believe women fantasize about rape so much as fantasizing about losing their control and being dominated. There is a big difference between having a "rape" fantasy revolving around being dominated, tied up, etc., and having a fantasy about someone coming up behind you, beating you to the ground, ripping off your clothes and forcing themselves on you.

First of all, women don't "always" fantasize about it.

Secondly, a fantasy is very different from reality, and acting out a scenario with someone you know and trust of your own free will can never be the same as an actual rape.

Don't use a fantasy to justify a bad reality.

the rape that women fantasize about is probably incorrectly called rape. their fantasy involves being dominated, but its not by someone who is trying to hurt them. it involves a lot of role playing with their significant other, and the idea of being controlled and the person doing all the work and having their way with them is a turn-on.

Not all women fantasize about rape. And I would imagine that the ones who do have never been raped. and if they ever were they would not like it. If you ask a women who has been raped I am sure they would tell you it is nothing they ever fantasize about.

I would think that it might have something to do with their lover and a pretend situation... hence the term "fantasy".

A real rape is a violent and sadistic act, causing mental and emotional (sometimes physical) scars for life.

i think women fantsizing about rape must be a male
fantasy. i am a woman and believe me i have better
things to think about.
hint; all the women i have ever heard talking about
fantasies wanted romance, NOT pain.
