I feel i should look into this subject in far more detail.

In order to give an informed response i think i should be sent a wide range of toys to test (online if needs be) to gage the true level of their quality.

If you want to see your toys being tested on webcam, please first send a webcam to............

You get what you pay for, so don't go cheap!

For vibrators, I suggest something that plugs in, not something that runs on batteries. The Hitachi Magic Wand is a classic for a reason.

For dildoes, go Pyrex. Incredibly durable, smooth, easy to clean.
I recommend shopping at glassfantasy.com

These will both set you back a good amount, but the performance, longevity and results are definitely worth it.

The shop in my town doesn't take them back, it's a health issue. However, if the thing obviously broke, then you might be able to get a replacement or your money back. There may be a manufacturer's warranty too.

One of my friends wants to open a store like this. I'll have to think of a good policy.

I think the overall quality, look, and feel is terrible. I have no idea who makes these things, but they certainly are not in it for you...just for themselves...to make money. IF someone were to make realistic toys that could withstand the test of time, they would be very expensive, but then again, I think there would be a very big market for them. Here is a business Idea for you. Good luck

There is an online shop that sells quality stuff, but they are not cheap. Most of the stuff you buy in the high street is crap.

Excellent quality items.

I would definitely take faulty goods back, though I would expect cheap quality for cheap prices.

The quality varies wildly. To be honest most of the best stuff is available at fetish fairs where you get small businesses who are dedicated to hand-crafting high quality high drurability sex toys - anything factory made is designed around profit margins not people in mind! I always talk to vendors and ask how my toys are made and how they are designed to be used - I have not used any mass produced sex toys in years.

I would take them back.

Ebay mature audiences is packed with stuff like that and some is really great quality stuff at a fraction of the price of the stuff in the stores. Good leather stuff. Glass too.

The ones I have problems with are the vibrators. I'm on my fourth one. Their little motors just don't withstand a lot of use.

I don't think I would have the gumption to take it back to the store, though.

I'd take it back, im on first name basis with our local shop, I'd suggest removing batteries, as my biggest mistakes when it comes to sex toys is leaking batteries... wasted £70! other than that, vibrators tend to get less abuse, so live longer!

Well some are a pain in the butt..Some are so knobbly that it would be less cruel to use a cactus instead..And some toys are like tree trunks..
