It's not okay to forget anything because whatever happened to you is a part of who you are and who you'll always be. I mean life suks-I wanta forget plenty of stuff, too. But if you look forward in life and try to move on while keeping those memories then you will become a stronger and better person:)

It really depends on what kind of past you are tring to forget, Is it a good or bad, or a combination of both. If you really had a good one why would you want to forget it, it is not important that you forget but rather it doesen't rule your life. you will always have mememories. but don't let it rule your life. enjoy what you had and dicard the rest. It depends on you how long it takes.

you'll never forget it unless you develop a mental disease that impairs your long term memory.

but a good therapist can help you overcome your past, which will help you heal and move on, not forgetting the past, just moving on, and overcoming.

You can't, unless you have a lobotomy.

Just find a way to deal with it and focus on a more positive future.

Good Luck!
