You know, if I had some blue in my skirt and a matching top, then maybe his dress shirt under his coat would be the same color. I don't think it would be cheezy.

color coordination is fine for a couple. I think it makes a positive example of a happy couple. So go ahead and match up those colors, of course the exact same outfit would be to much but wearing the same color put a little style to the relationship. stunt yall stuff, I bet yall look good in it.

Certainly not. Color-coordinating is often done.
Besides, even if it were cheezy, the only two opinions that matter in the end are those of the bride and groom. If they're happy, then it's a good plan.

Yes, very cheesy if overdone. Try matching a couple of accessories or as you suggest, pick a color that does not dominate your outfit for his shirt but not the overall style and color.

No, it's traditional.
It's a heck of a lot better than clashing, isn't it?
There are no set "masculine" or "feminine" colors, but for a groom, a solid color suit (think black or navy) is probably easiest as it is very available. Your idea of the matching dress shirt and/or the tie is a good one.

not if it only matches a tiny bit. dress shirt matching your top? that's not cheezy unless your top is purple or some other non-manly color.

no it's not i rather see it has a very classy look, when a couple organize their dressing to carry off the other. in africa it is ideal for the wife or the girlfriend in either case to wear the same color has her spouse not all of her attire but there must be.
