Are you outta your mind???? Have you observed the driving habits and skills (or lack thereof) of some of these idiot brain dead soccer moms in their minivans talking incessantly on cell phones? Or how about the cotton heads who should've had their licenses revoked after their 75th birthdays? They aren't even aware that they're driving until about 4 hours after they get home! And these cueball headed teenagers (with the prerequisite backward, sideways, anyway but correctly worn baseball caps) bombing around in their souped up japanese s'hit boxes at 90-100 mph in city traffic. Sure, they'd all be more vulnerable, but their lack of skill and COMMON SENSE would cause even more maiming and fatalities than the already unacceptable level of vehicular mishap. What the hell are you thinking about???? And I mean ALL OF YOU WHO THINK IT'S SUCH A GREAT F'UCKING IDEA!!!!!!! Check all the memorial patches on riders' jackets and realize that they are mostly the result of the driving escapades of all the idiots that you want to put on motorcycles. Please, don't get any more brilliant ideas.

yes, and to answer the question about how to take a cooler and the kids away for a weekend on a motorcycle - get a sidecar adn you can get a family of four on the bike. I've gone camping on my bike with no side car for weeks with no problems - but I wasn't carrying a passenger. I agree that they should tax people who drive to work in an SUV alone , or at least give a break to motorcycles - like maybe no tolls for motorcycles - we are helping to save the planet.

If you're going for GREEN, then we should all be on scooters. Motorcycles are certainly more green than cars, however, most people don't realize the skills that are needed to ride one on American streets and highways, therefore, if you're after green, we should stick with scooters and SMART cars...or better yet...bicycles.

We use half the tires and gas, and take up 1/4 the space, and we can't even get a break on insurance or tag fees. The tree hugger cafes won't even reserve MC parking.

Miss "oighrig" should my Valkyrie when packed for two weeks of camping. :-)

First lets get all these Gas consuming cars off the road. Start charging people that drive one per car a tax to stop them from driving.

No! Have you been on a road lately! People are crazy -- at least when a car gets hit -- there's a chance for the driver to survive! How about hover cars ;-)
