I think us Brits need to realise we don't have go tag along after Uncle Sam anymore, we are part of Europe not the USA, and it's time we realised this. I for one like Americans, the ones I know, but am not comfortable with the policies of the current US administration. Blair needs to go, we need a PM with a bit more steel who can say to the USA, we'll still be your friend but we're not going to do everything you say anymore.

Are you nuts!! Terrorism needs country's to stick together, once the cracks start to show, you're finished, its just what these idiots want, once it happens they will play one off against the other! As for someone saying to dump America and go along with the EU,you really want your head examined! Do you really think the EU will want to help? Are you seriously suggesting that France would come down from that fence they've been sitting on for so long? Dream on!! Its common knowledge that most of Europe dislikes the UK,because most are not in favour of joining their little club, and quite honestly the feeling is mutual. There's no common language either!! Ridiculous.Just to remind you Americans,America would not have entered the second world war had it not been for the Japanese bombing Pearl Harbour, yes America was willing to supply us,but at a cost!!So don't get too high and mighty!

imagine we get a car accident on the M25 and the whole bloody country is half stuck! keep on dreaming about britain going to war on its own!

Britain should do whatever the Humans of Britain decide it should do.
America should do what the American Humans tell it to.
I don't know a single person that is in favor of genocide, they are all in office.

Why throw out over 100 years of alliance over genuine and friendly disagreements? Come on. We supported you in that Falkland War. Seriously, our relationship and alliance is too valuable to lose over any one minor issue.

I think we've bitten off more than we can chew and backing out is not an option...so many people have died or got seriously injured because of the support, so I suppose you've got to do it for them!
