The last time I saw Bally, he was driving a taxi in San Francisco and working on his mime routine. I think that you may have had a hard time finding him because he changed his name to Balendran Sivagnanasundaramandschwarzenner. I believe this was a feeble attempt to assimilate.
P.S. He was sharing a room at the YMCA with a Libyan refugee, named Wali Golli bin Abdulissimojerrybrown in Oakland. When they become U.S. citizens, they plan to share a driver's license.
