LMAO. Sorry to say this, but I think you got fooled by the pet store. Even if you got the harness on the guinea pig and took it outside, it would most likely just sit there, stunned and too scared to move.

Guinea Pigs don't like wide open spaces. Letting it truck around your house is fine because it knows the smells of it.
But, trying to take it outside for a walk, remember, hawks feed on rodents the same size of your Guinea Pig.

you should not put a harness on a guinea pig. that is not an animal that you can take for a walk.

You are supposed to walk guinea pigs,i didnt use a harness or anything fancy,i just tied a string around its neck,but not to tight so it doesnt choke,and it worked fine, my guinea pig was pimping :P

Your harness is probably not designed for a guinea pig. Try to find one made for a rabbit, it should fit. You can always use thumb tacks.

guinea pigs really aren't pets to go walking with. They are fat and slow by nature.

Put him in the cage and take him outside in that. You could even put him in a stroller too (assuming he's still in the cage) You don't want an escapee -hehe.
