Vague answers mean nothing. You have to come up with specific names of media companies and their products and show concrete proof that the media companies have a leftist agenda. For example: chief executive is left biased, company donated $X billion to the leftist party, board members vote left etc. etc.
If you want to go to the other extreme and show that media companies are right biased, then use the same guidelines to debate that point of view too.

The first two idiots didn't get it. I asked for proof. PROOF. Just naming names is not considered proof. Follow the guidelines.

The proof in a journalists education. Journalists are not trained to be non-biased. They are taught to right in an editorialized fashion. Two separate journalist can cover the same story and provoke a separate reaction. Hence the pen truly is mightier than the sword.
Traditionally CBS,ABC,and NBC covered stories objectively but leaned slightly to the left until Ronald Regan's second term. The CEO's of these networks started to allow more of a leftist viewpoint of coverage of stories. With the creation of FOX news CNN,and MSNBC the stakes got higher.Talk radio became a factor with Rush Limbaugh. The masses started watching whichever channel best expressed there views. This caused the 2 parties to try and distance themselves from each other so they could retain their political base. With media such as ours covering in this fashion has divided this nation in such a way that hasn't been seen since the civil war............Good Question
UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL

The most respected media source in the US is the NY Times.
Would a right-wing or even a neutral paper do this?
From today's NYT Editorial "As the Senate struggles to produce DECENT legislation from the House’s recent SHAM bills, Americans will see the truth: their representatives in the House went on vacation WITHOUT DOING THEIR JOB."
"DECENT", "SHAM" and "without doing their jobs" are value laden words. I know that an editorial is supposed to offer an opinion, but it would have sufficed to say "As the Senate struggles to reconcile their legislation with the House’s recent bills".
The Times recently 'broke' stories that will make fighting the war on terror more difficult.
They published addresses and photos of homes for high administration officials, putting their lives at risk.
It is something the old "Grey Lady" never does to the Ds.

Haha great question. People who think the media is leftist or liberal have their heads where the sun don't shine. Bill Oh Really? Ann Cruelter? Rush "OTC" Limbo? Sean Manatee? Matt Liar?
Give me a break! Who counters them? Michael Moore? Those four paid liars above are wailing away every day every day. Michael Moore has a movie once every three years or so.

In the 2000 presidential election, an associate of mine was in the CBS newsroom when Florida was originally called for Gore. The place erupted in raucous cheering.
What they said when they pulled Florida out of the blue column would have made a 20 year Marine blush.

Check out the Pew Research Center
34% of Journalists at national media outlets describe themselves as liberal, 59% moderate, and a mere 7% consider themselves conservative.
Compare that to the general population; 20% describe themselves as liberal, 50% moderate, and 30% consider themselves conservative.
And when you see that self-described liberals (in the media) out-number comservatives 5 to one, it makes me wonder how moderate the "moderates" are.
I try to be optimistic & say the bias is unintintional. But when the vast majority of people around you are liberal, liberal starts to seem "moderate." Therefore, when you present your version of "moderate" you are really presenting a somewhat liberal view.
So, unless your watching Fox, you are watching a broadcast created & presented by liberals.
