Did anyone teach you that loved ones die?
Did anyone tell you about day and night?
Did anyone tell you about what’s wrong and what’s right?
Did anyone teach you all you need to know?
Did anyone teach you the right way to go?
Did anyone tell you about all the good things?
Did anyone tell you the joy a smile brings?
Did anyone teach you that we’re not all the same?
Did anyone teach you how to handle the pain?
Did anyone tell you how to live life?
Did anyone teach you how to do it right?
Because I’ve learnt my lessons alone
And the best way to do it is on your own.

I think you should change the last line to "And the best way to do it is do it on your own" so the poetic scheme is better but I shouldn't be forcing my own opionion against your creativityT_T I'm SORRY!! But overall, in my opinion that was a very well-writen poem. Especially if it is coming from your own experience/thoughts I think this is something more people should read.
