So many to choose from, it is hard to just pick one. I guess, for now my favorite book would be "Tuesday's With Morrie" by Mitch Albom. For me, it reminded me of what is really important in life. If you have not read it yet, I highly recommend it.

The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley. It's a wonderful story about the King Arthur legend but with emphasis on the women in his life rather than the men. It's filled with delightful descriptions of goddesses and their rituals and the final confrontation between paganism and Christianity. I love it - if you like fantasy and beauty you might want to give it a try.
