I've never had nightmares from scary movies. I've been scared to be in the dark because of scary things I saw... BUT... recently I've had a recurring nightmare that dealt with House of 1000 Corpses. And I've since gotten over it - but I think it was because of the just demonic personalities they have.

Everything is cool now, but for a month or two - I couldn't get near a horror movie - and that's what all of my DVD's are!!!

All of them- anything that is sinister or have a lot or even a little gory.

I have actually stopped watching horror movies and sleep a lot better now. They used to be the only movies I would watch.

I'm almost ashamed to say this but.... 13 Ghosts gave me more nightmares than any other horror movie I've seen (and I've seen a lot).

I was born in the 70's and I grew up in the 80's watching Jason and Fred and all the others and got desensitized to alot of horror movies, but I have to say the one of the few movies that really get to me is the remake of House on Haunted Hill that movie scares the crap out of me every time. The doctor just gives me major creeps one of the few I can not watch by myself lol My husband laughs at me everytime I ask him to watch it with me. The Ring movies they got to me also lol

The Horror movies these days are not scary...When I first saw The Shining, Exorcist, Omen, Amityville Horror - it spooked me...I was also younger then...they do not have the same effect anymore...
