I don't agree.
I think that we should take care of the problems we have here in America (healthcare, homeless, etc) before sticking our nose in other people's business.
I think he just wants to make money.
If everyone would just mind their own business........ahhhh......that would be so nice.

many Americans think that there should be an unconditional cease-fire, that Israel should have its troops returned unharmed (which, let's not forget, started this all), and that Lebanon should be given international troops to help eliminate terrorists within their borders
if that's not fair, how about Americans, without the support of the US govt, attack Iran and the US govt plead ignorance or imcompetence? Isn't that what Lebanon is doing right now?

Just so you know, the majority of America is completely against Bush and our government. The last day of Bush's Presidency will be a glorious day!

Not me. I would like to see him actually accomplish something that will lead to permanent peace in the area. If you are Saudi, then I agree with your government's statement that Israel should go back to the 1967 boundaries. I want to see everyone live in peace, and it bothers me that both sides seem to want to wipe each other off the map.
Unfortunately, he hasn't proven himself so far to be up to the task. Here is a question that was posted this morning you might find interesting: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aow.AVkLGT3qSQbSCjdX52jsy6IX?qid=20060731054339AAklQxV

The only thing our government truly supports is peace in the middle east. We choose to back Isreal because 1) we helped to establish it 2) it is a reasonable democracy within the region that is fairly stable.
The U.S. isn't against Arabs. They are against radicals who create volatility in a region that is essential to the U.S. economy.
