I'm not clear on what your asking, but it sounds like you want to know why the moon looks orangish or copper sometimes.

It is not a phase of the moon, but it is when the moon is low on the horizon and you are looking through more of the earths atmosphere than you do when you look strait up. When the moon is low, and there is dust in the air, then it will color the moon orange or 'copper'.

It is not a phase of the moon. It is an event.
I beleive a lunar eclispe will create one. Instead of light from the sun reflected back from the moon to earth. Light reflected off the earth bounces back from the moon. Giving the moon a darker copper color..

The Copper Moon is actually caused by polution in the atmosphere. It is much more frequent now due to industrialization.

A cooper moon happens when it is eclipsed by the earth. This type of eclipse is called a lunar eclipse vrs. the more common solar eclipse.
