My question is this: I have a Barbadoes ram, and a Nubian nanny goat. I think they might be mating. Is it possible to have offspring from such a combination, and if so, what characteristics can I expect in the offspring?

Lamb is a woolly a million a million/2 to 2 twelve months previous sheep, mutton is an older sheep as much as 5 years previous. The older the beef the enhanced style and harder texture it will be. Goats advance thick long hair and horns. appropriate to the age of lamb, enhanced style and harder texture. never had ram, yet i'm optimistic it could be like goat or mutton.

The male may be able to fertilize the female's egg, but it is very unlikely for them to produce a viable fetus. There is one recorded case of a goat/sheep hybrid that survived in Botswana. He is 6 years old and looks like a big, white goat. I hope that you are careful with this. Your nanny goat might get very sad if she has a baby and it dies.

i have no clue. if they did mate, the offspring would probably have some characteristics of both parents.

if a horse and a donkey mate to be mules, and a mule cant mate with another mule,

it shows that there are some things mother nature doesnt allow.
