I probably would be faced with a dilemma. I probably would turn him over rather than turn him in. I possibly would turn him over to the French.
It is a very hypothetical situation. My reasoning would be based on the inherent hypocrisy of turning a suspected "stonecutter" into another "stonecutter". He would face inevitable death. The circumstance would make me a proxy killer. I thus would be guilty of the same infraction that he is up for.
I am left with the impression that quite a few people would do something like this.
I would be frightened of receiving the bounty that is on his head.
On a less serious note, I might offer him a cigarette and a drink, (maybe several drinks) and try to get him talking.

Hand him over to the federal government and ask for that big 20 million dollar check they promised for his capture! Well, that would happen after I let everyone I know kick his a** first, lol.

Get him before a court, preferably the Hague - so at least it will be a more fair trial than Saddam is getting. Let justice be done, not vengance.
