Well, my advice would be to call the police immediately. When they get there, ask them to explain the difference between robbery and burglary to you.
After they leave and you clean up the dust from the print powder, go on down to the animal shelter and buy yourself a dog. A big one preferrably with a loud bark.
When you get home with your new companion, you can look up training techniques on the computer that wasn't stolen in the burglary of your home.

Oh man, gimme a break! Call the cops! F that! First thing I'd do is go get my shotgun, a pistol, and a club, and start hunting for the stupid s o b's. When I found em, I'd stick the shotgun in their faces and say give it BACK or DIE you nasty little pigs. THEN I'd haul their asses to the cops myself. But not before I smashed everything in their place and slashed all their tires too.

don't touch a thing and call th police and the media incase the police decides that yuor not worth the trouble. Usually the Media can get the ball rolling for ya.
That way the police will be under a microscope to make sure that they do their job and do it right.

First I would check to see if my husband was OK, then I would call the police and then without touching anything I would try to take inventory to see what was missing. I would definitely check on my pets, because there would have to be some reason why they got past our noisy German Schnauzer, that barks at everything that moves!!!!!!

I would be devestated and I would have to call the police first and then pray and thank God that I was not harmed and also thank God that I didn't catch then in the act, because they would not have made it out of that house alive. But be thankful no hurt, harm, or danger came upon you.
