5 days ago, I got this terrible itch in my groin. Been working pretty hard lately, sweating a lot, so I put it down to the heat. Used talc & tea tree oil. Latter choice was dumb as hell. Itch got worse and rash started running. So, used a drying, alc-based desinfectant and that seemed to do the trick. Got rid of the itch and rash seemed to heal.

This morning after the shower, i noted that rash has spread to belly, left inner thigh and pubes. Yes dammit, I WILL go see a doc if needed, but if I can take care of it myself, I'll be even happier. So - got any good advice?

LOL, munesliver!!! NO, NOT crabs. Crabs won't spread to belly & inner thigh and there's no *aliens* down there, I've checked. As for scabies, rash looks nothing like it.

use bengay or the cream you use to heal the rashes babies get in their butts. I got the same thing and it worked. Use the one for the babies' butt, it's perfect. Put it when you go to sleep, at the morning, and if you can during the afternoon.

Dear Rash in Groin, Yes you should naturally treat it! Go to your doctor and have it checked out. It could be anything, such as a fungal fungal infection, bacterial infection or viral infection. Rashes in the groin are not normal and require medical care. Do not be shy go see your doctor ASAP!!! Julia, RN

Change your underwear everyday and take a bath everyday. Worse is it could be Herpes Zoster -- see a doc and get isolated.
