Coolest team logo, coolest team field (pirate ship), awesome defense, hopefully new improved offense. It's time I think.

I will partially agree. The Bucs have great uniforms and a fantastic stadium. "Chuckie" is a great, intense coach and the defense has been on of the best for a while.
I don't think they will go all the way for two reasons:
The loss of Rod Marinelli and the lack of a proven winner at QB. I think Simms will be really good eventually and i think the Bucs will be in the playoffs, but I don't think they are ready for the Superbowl.

.....If they don't have an offense to stand on this year...they're super screwed over.
Chicago (All defense last year....found new life in an effective offense against the Panthers)
Carolina (Won mostly with defense and Steve Smith, boosting the offense and defense this offseason makes them a power to watch for)
Washington (Won on a balanced attack and improved the offense greatly whith a few key additions that makes their defense just as good)
Seattle (Look at how well they rush passers and cover...they're smart and play well on both sides of the ball)
I'll tell you right now...there is no way in hell Tampa can win without an offense...you have to hope you have an offense? That's already not good for the NFC...all of the top defenses have great offenses this season....I'd be kind of hesitant to say the Bucs are going to the Super Bowl without the sure fire offense...They have it there...but it wasn't performing very consistently.

They are on track for another playoff appearance but they are at least two years away from another Super Bowl...Their team still has a lot of inexperienced young players....For that matter Gruden needs to figure out how to replace the older vets like Alstott, Brooks, and Barber in the next couple of years...When they bring the young players up to the level of their "pro-bowlers" then they will be able to compete on a Super Bowl level.
