Why? Because he doesn't act like a black person? Isn't that a racist remark?

I believe both his parents consider themselves African-Americans, so I guess that would make Colin Powell black.

Why because he is educated, and successful? He rose to the rank of General through hard work and being smart if that isn't black than I guess he isn't.

He is Jamaican......and what does his color have to do with anything? He has had a brilliant and successful career. What should he have done, stayed in the ghetto and sold drugs and whined about the government not giving him his entitlements?
He is certainly his own man and his career illustrates that.

what makes you wonder? and How can you really define a black person? I guess sometimes you have to think beyond what TV can offer...don't be TV/media oriented.

There was actually a "Racial Draft" (Chappelle's Show) about two years ago and he was taken by the white delegation. I think that makes the answer to your question "no".
