What are you concerned about?
If you are worried about something in particular, talk it over with your parents. Maybe they can arrange for you to meet some of your teachers and tour the school. If this is a new school, maybe you can go several days before school starts to meet the staff and to find your way around the school without crowds.
Join some clubs. That's the best way to meet other kids who have similar interests. You can ask them questions and you will probably get honest and helpful answers.
Find the guidance counselor and talk with him/her. I know it's probably not cool to do that, but if you are worried about something, the best thing to do is to face your fears and find out the answers. This solution beats sitting around and worrying.
Have a good year.
