Don't know of any real use for the 3,5 DCP. The 2,3 and the 2,4 and the 2,5 isomers are all itermediates - mostly for insecticides and pharmaceuticals.

Its an antiseptic, or a chemical intermediate that seems kinda dangerous, see the MSDS in the link! It seems to cause blistering, and redness, irritation to the eyes, and its flamable. I think most chlorophenols and in general halophenols (like bromophenol, iodophenol, flourophenol, i.e. halogenated bezene rings) are carcinogenic, or cause renal (kidney) damage, brain damage, etc.

It is probably an antiseptic like trichlorphenol (TCP)
