I think you present a very interesting concept. Their is no doubt that you don't go to heaven(up in the sky), or to hell(down in the bowels of earth) , but I do believe in having a spirit. Realistically you go into the ground forever more but I have seen evidence that a persons spirit can guide you to do good or bad. If the person who passed away loves you they can make sure you stay away from trouble. You really can't talk about such things to people have never experienced this but I have. I can't explain it but I feel my grandparents have guided me in certain situations. Their is something to be said about positive, and negative power when it comes to the spirit world, and so for now I coose to believe it is true.

I think about this exact same question EVERYDAY. You explanation is beautiful and one I have considered over and over. But if you look around in nature and if you study the universe you will find that every thing cycles and recycles. An explosion of a dying star for example gives birth to new stars and new planets. When a tree dies in the woods it give life to other creatures and fungi. It is a cycnical existance.
I believe some how some way we are "reborn" not in the christain interpertation but in some other fashion. We are pure energy it makes perfect sense for us to reincarnate either as another human being or another structure in nature. I for one find in a beautiful thing.

The heaven/hell idea was invented by the Church to encourage people to do as they dictated in life, lest their eternal punishment be something horrid. I think heaven or hell are what we create for ourselves here on earth.
Reincarnation in some ways makes sense to me...that there are certain things we need to learn to move up to a "higher plane of existence" (if you will) and so it may take a number of lives to achieve this...once one has accomplished it, then they go on to whatever higher level of being there might be...
Or, we just die and that's the end of it. Which is probably more likely what occurs...but I prefer the reincarnation idea myself.

I believe when Jesus comes for the second time, he'll judge the living and the dead. Whoever goes to Heaven rises up to heaven and whoever goes to Hell goes to hell, according to the Bible. I also believe your theory is wrong. What about those people who claim to have gone to Heaven and then came back to earth? What do you base your theory on? At least science has proven the Bible and is working to prove the rest. God bless you and may you turn to the Lord, Jesus Christ, our Savior.

Interesting.... i think both heaven & hell are on earth. what happens after the death.......each religion has different answers.
Any ways when a human body decomposes it ends up as a nourishment for the ones who lives: both humans and animals and there is always life on the earth, whether it is in the form of human or spirits and by the way what u mean by keep living. Is it a thought of life after death........ it is vague. i think death is onething that is final.

I personally believe that there is no Hell. Now follow me on this.....If Heaven is supposed to be ideal for everyone, think of how much work and effort there would have to be in oder to please everyone 100% of the time. Therefore, I believe that the worthy go to Heaven and the bad, evil, etc....go to Heaven's Customer Service.
