Legitimate talent agents don't charge you any money up front; they take a percentage of your earnings. Because of this, they only want to represent people who are actually TALENTED and will earn them money. It is very hard to get a talent agent.
You find legitimate agents through SAG (the Screen Actors Guild) and AFTRA (American Federation of Television and Radio Artists). Contact those agents to find out their procedures for submitting materials for consideration, such as photos and a resume. The photos can be ones you take at home.
If you ever manage to be cast in something, then your agent starts taking their cut of your earnings. Thus, fame is not free.

You know, sometimes I think being famous would be great, but I try to avoid sounding shamelessly silly. What do you want to be famous for? Would you actually enjoy the work? Get some answers, then maybe get a day job. Getting places usually takes hard work.

If you can find out when and where auditions for the above things are held, and the audition is open to the public then you can try out; but it is always better to be represented by a talent agency, which usually charges between 200 and 900 dollars for your photo shoot to start out. I hope you find success.

your going to have to pay for it somehow, weather it being in time or money, think you have to pay for the lessons to dance, you wont get anywere if you dont know how to dance, nothing is free
