What is the placement of the runners lane on a little league baseball field?

We never had running lanes.

It's a 45-foot running lane, so it should begin halfway between home plate and first base, and it should be three feet wide.

Approximately 1/2 of the way up the line, between Home & 1st is where you would start it.
