almost every one in the world has heard of WoW and LOT's of people plays it.
I myself used to play it but I quited due to some RL problems (unfortunately all coasted by WoW) but I still go online now and then to farm some potions (which sells pretty good and is welcome in every guild :-p) and talk with my friend (cause you really are making some very good friends).

I've spent enough time playing. It's not so addicting, if you just have a little self control. It's fun, but it gets kinda boring after a couple of months. At least, that's how I feel about it. If you get a good server with good players (i.e. not 13 year olds) then the sense of community can keep you coming back.

I played it for 3mos... got tired of getting killed, potion limitations, resource scarcity and the long longer wait between level ups.

I played for awhile and got High Warlord but after that there was nothing to do.

I have heard of it, don't do it!! You will devote all of your time playing and negelct all of your friends, your personal life will become non-existant! Don't do it please for the love of everything!!
