I'd love to know. I read like a learning impaired child, I'm suprised I don't still use a ruler to keep my line. Practice yeah (I hate reading), but I think it's also to do with your energy and concentration levels. When I'm under pressure I can read soo much faster!

Read the intro and the conclusion of the book. You can get thru the whole encyclopedia Americana in a day. That's pretty fast...

First of all, you have to practice. Read as much as you can. Secondly, you might want to adopt the diagonal method of reading, according to which you do not read all the words, but you more scan the pages.
