You can't prevent your bunny from causing allergies. You can help prevent getting allergies. Experiment with various allergy medications. I know my allergies act up more because of dust mites from my rats' cage. I take an over the counter allergy medication before cleaning out their cages. Also consider seeing an allergist for other tips.

The usual allergy will be dust mite. It is almost imposable to prevent. taking bee pollen tablets can help, I find Forever Living Products bee pollen very good. It can be found on www.aloedistributor.com It is not such a good idea to have a bunny inside as they are nit easy to house train and diseases can be passed on to children very easily. Get a goldfish instead!.

That's not neccessarily true. If you're allergic to a rabbit you would know from the moment you got it. Allergies don't develop from hair sitting in the carpet. It's ok to let your bun out to play but I would still vacuum once a week for short hair rabbits.
