Because he was a pretext.
Before Bush: gas was under $2/gallon
After Bush (and his unprovoked attacks on two neutral Middle Eastern nations, plus threats against two others): gas $3/gallon and rising.
Hasn't anyone wondered why we attacked Iraq in response to 9/11, which bin Laden supposedly planned? There were no Iraqis on those planes and no proof of collaboration. But it sure helped bump up the price of crude per barrel, didn't it?

Because this war isn't about Bin Laden or 9/11 anymore. It's about money, oil, and world domination. Bush thinks that the way of America should be the way of the world.
One more thing, some of you talk about National Security or if we pull out now we'll be vulnerable to another attack blah blah blah. You people need to stop allowing yourselves to be brainwashed by Bush, the government, and the media. You are allowing yourself to be involved in this psychological war that Bush has silently declared on us. Ever heard of scare tactics? What do you think the terror alert system was designed for? What does it do besides drive fear into the people of America who cannot think for themselves? As long as the sky is blue, we will always be at risk for an attack. This war in Iraq will never, in no way shape or form, guarantee our safety. You cannot stop the inevitable.

Bush isn't focused on his old pal bin Laden because he and his family have been friends with Ossie and his family for decades, and they KNOW where bin Laden is (don't EVEN think he's hiding in the desert in caves ~ he's probably right here in the US, where he learned to fight in the first place, and where he's shaved and is wearing western attire).
Fifteen of the 19 persons who allegedly caused the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, were from Saudi Arabia, but not one bullet has been fired inside that country.
Afghanistan has been destroyed and hundreds of thousands of innocents have been left homeless, killed or maimed.
Iraq has been destroyed too, and likewise, hundreds of thousands of innocents have been killed, maimed or left homeless.
Yet Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are unscathed.
Hmmmmm?
Do you Really wonder why????

The only reason you think he isn't is because the liberal media doesn't report all of the good activities that are going on -just items made to make President Bush look bad. We are DILIGENTLY looking for Bin Laden and it will be a banner day when we capture that murdering scoundrel.

Bin Laden attcked us? Isn't that just a smoke screen because we know that Bush really attacked us by arranging the twin tower incident. I mean, wake up man, Bush is stupid but is is after all incredibly devious.

Bin Laden is no longer an operational force. The price on his head is so large and many of the people who surround him would sell their mothers for less than half of that. When will the world see that these people are terrorists. They have no honor they have no shame they are monsters

How do you know what he is focused on and what is being done?
Did Tim Russert or the New York Times divulge all the battle plans and intelligence to you?
Osama squirrelled away in a cave, barely alive and out of touch is much better for our cause than dead and therefore able to be used as a symbol and a rallying point... He is cut off and basically out of business, except for his use to liberals who love to rally to his cause...

Have you ever thought that perhaps that we are not talking about it? Would the concept of national security ever cross your mind and that to know every move our military or security people make is not a great idea? Broadcasting our every move from the NY times is not a smart thing to do. They read it and they depend on it.
