BOWLING !!!! Yes I'm the first.....You really need to be physically fit to bowl consistantly and trust me rolling a 16 pound ball down 60 feet bowling lane 45 to 60 tmes eash time that you bowl a three game series 2,700 to 3,600 feet of lane covered for each three game series and that is a total weight of 720 to 960 pounds for each three game series. Then there is the skill level involved.

Bowling is more than just rolling the ball down the lane.

Unlike your typical open bowler who looks like they are walking a tightrope and throwing the ball not rolling the ball off balance. This is becuase there is no foundation of footwoork and no timing with the armswing. Eqipment matters and even with the best equipment the world has to offer it's meaningless if you are not using it the way the equipment is taught to be used.

Shoes are a big part of the sport of bowling. The humidity can make apporaches sticky and when this happens you tend to stick at the foul line and belive me I have experienced it and this problem ruines you timing for a really good shot in the pocket. A rack of pins is set in 4 rows the 1 or head pin....The 2 and 3 pin going left to right...This is known as the pocket involing the 1,2 and 3 pins...Then you have the 4,5 and 6 pins still going left to right and the last row is the 7,8,9 and 10 pin.

Wrist braces are very important to use especially for the beginner bowler although I have been bowling for almost 30 years and I use a wrist brace still to this day. A grip ball should be used not the old fashioned rosin bag If you still have yours TRASH IT ! These grip balls or grip bags last longer and only cost $4 to $5 in most pro shops.

All the other aspects of the game you can learn with experience...Just like it have.

Thank You for this opportunity to educate everyone about the SPORT !!!! of bowling.

Basketball--it's the complete sport. You need to be athletic for offense, have good hand-eye cordination, intelligence for defense...gotta' be "court aware." It's just one of the few games where you have to be able to do EVERYthing. In baseball you can specialize in JUST pitching, or football you might be the freesafety...you don't have to be able to throw, run, just play safety.

So--basketball for sure
