Turn it in. If no one claims it, it is yours. If they don't you get a C-note in your wallet.

No name on the envelope? Turn it in to the police. The police will give you a receipt for it. If no one claims it after a period of time, it's yours. If you want to keep your conscience healthy, do the right thing.

Envelope with no name?????? Then why would you turn it in? How would it be claimed...anybody can walk up and say it was theirs...or worse yet...the person you turn it in to could just keep it. In that case it comes down to finders keepers losers weepers. Now if the envelope HAD A NAME(first and LAST that is)??? I would track down the person and return it.....still wouldn't turn it in to somebody else...how can they be trusted?

If it had no information inside the envelope, that $100 is as good as mine!

If there was contact information on the envelope, I'd try to find them. I'd look around to see if anyone was looking for it. Then I'd take it to the police station, but the owner probably wouldn't get it back.

If there was nothing on or in the envelope that would tell me who the money belonged to, there would be no way for it to get to the owner. Therefore, it would be mine.

If, however, the owner could be identified, I would try my best to locate the owner and return it.

I really want to say that I would turn it in - but I'm sure I would keep it. And then feel guilty about it.

Turn it in if it was an outside area. If an inside area, leave it with the establishment.

Turn it in...I'd feel so guilty if I took it, even if I needed it, that is if there was a way of knowing the owner if not, I would take it and donate it.

daydream a minute about what I could do and then turn it in. If it has a name I will but if there is no name I will not let the police have it.
