1000 MB = 1 GB

Actually
1024 or 2^10 is the definition used technically in computer feild, n is the correct one from the history.

but nowadays many memmory vendors like HDDs and Flash drives, says its 1000. and in other areas,(in normal means) giga (also mega, kilo, tera) means 1000. So actually we can consider the above 1 is correct.

and also a new standered is emerging that is 1024 MB is 1 GiBs(GibiBytes)

This standered is put forward to remove the ambiguity with giga and so... ots like following

1000 Bytes = 1 kiloBytes(KB);
1024 bytes = 1 kibiBytes(KiB);

1000 kiloBytes = 1 MegaBytes(MB);
1024 kibiBytes = 1 mebiBytes(MiB);

1000 MegaBytes = 1 GigaBytes(GB);
1024 Mebibytes = 1 GibiBytes(GiB);

1000 GigaBytes = 1 TeraBytes(TB);
1024 Gibibytes = 1 TebiBytes(TiB);

and so on...

So, use the new standerd......
its 1000MB = 1 GB

The really answer is 1024, it is based 2, it is 2^64, the math is not accurate because its a really big number and I don't want to do the math while on vacation.
