Yes! As an American, I am ashamed of this carte blanche support of Isreal which has only served to disenfranchise our potential Arab allies and has drawn the ire of many nations. What are we getting out of the deal besides terrorist attacks on our cities?

You have failed to mention any Israeli casualties, Do you think that Hezbollah are shooting slingshots over the border? Why did Hezbollah terrorists cross into Israel and kidnap an Israeli Soldier? Hezbollah needs to stop as they are the ones who started this mess. Israel tried to give the Lebanese people a 48 hour cease fire to receive aid and let anyone escape that wished to do so, but Hezbollah would not even stop firing into Israel long enough to allow this to happen so the cease fire was cancelled. It appears that Hezbollah likes the situation and does not care about the Lebanese people. Maybe the focus of attention should be placed on disarming Hezbollah so there can be a real peace.

It's an unfortunate truth, that if Israel were as weak as Lebanon or as powerful as they are, barbaric Islamo-Facists would kill/invade/suicide bomb Israel provoking them anyway. They're simply pushing back and destroying terrorists....THAT'S IT. Israel is like us - non-imperialistic. All they wanna do is clean out the termites so the house doesn't fall down. It's a simple question you can ask yourself. "Name all the countries in the world where Muslims are persecuted or jailed or murdered soley becasue of their religion" - NONE ... Unfortunately, this is a fairly no-win situation. I wish the violence could stop but the people of southern Lebanon were fully informed of who they were supporting when they voted these hateful people in the legislature and when they welcomed them into their homes so that they would have good vantages from which to fire rockets into Israel. Maybe a better question is why did Hezbollah militants store munitions in civilian areas like apartment buildings. Its a form of attack for Hezbollah to do something like that because either their munitions are safe because they are stored in the apartment above a family of five or the munitions are detroyed at the cost of civilian lives and Israel looks like the bad guys. Lets not forget why areas are being targeted.

And how do you know that most of them are civilians? Seeing Hezbollah does not wear a uniform, how can you tell if they are fighters, or civilians? One thing is sure, the ones that are dead in Israel are civilians....hell, Hezbollah isn't even trying to kill anyone but civilians

Of course they should act to stop Israel, logically speaking. Will they, no. They are funding this mass murder of civilians. They are halting any sort of cease fire agreement. It is well documented that Hezbollah are hiding their rocket launchers and heavy artillery in houses and businesses. Absolutely not. The Lebanese bear a HUGE responsibility on this, for allowing a proxy gov't to operate in the south and doing NOTHING to disarm them. If they can't do that, they don't deserve to be a sovereign nation.
