its so typically teenage- she just wants to fit in and wear " what everyone else is wearing". she wants to be part of the crowd. talk to her about that it may help. encourage her to be individual though.

Because she wants to conform to how society told her to look.
If she wants to be original, try Goodwill or the Salvation Army. Even WalMart.
Emphasize the importance of originality rather than fitting in. And besides which, just tell her Lindsey Lohan or whoever her favorite celebrity shops at stores like WalMart. Heck yes.

A&F is one of the big teenage stores. A lot of teens find their clothes 'in', trendy, and cute. I do. Your daughter is porbably just following the crowd. But it is expensive though, isn't it?

She doesn't NEED A&F clothes....she wants them. Don't know why she wants them though as I can think of a dozen stores with more attractive clothing for teens.

Because she wants to look hot. Teach her to not limit her style to one store. There are many stores out there that have great clothes.

no she doesnt teach her that sometimes even walmart clothes are just as good as high price brand name clothes.
