should you always put yourself down, if someone else says that you are ugly?

i am always on this websie called gURL.com. almost every gURL on there is asking someone else if they r pretty.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder--remember that old quote? Well it's true. There is beauty in everyone and everyone shines somewhere. Focus on and emphasize your good points instead of revealing the negative--and do the same for others you are in contact with. No one has to know your problem areas if you don't tell them. And if they do say something you consider to be insulting, even though it's hard to be nice to negative people, remember they got that way for a reason from their past. Also, sometimes if you really listen--and I mean hear the person--are they not just trying to help in some way? You can tell a sincere person from a fake. Stay away from the fakes.

of course not! dont listen to what they say just think to ur self im the prettiest girl on the planet and im not going to let anyone say im ugly because i know its not true! u should always have confidence in ur self and dont let it give u a bad day if u want u can indulge ur self in a warm bath or go shopping or put on some pretty clothes and makeup and go out with ur friends to have some fun or just watch a movie remember what ever some one says if its good feel happy if its bad just ignore it and move on : )

People like that are super insecure and worry about what everyone else thinks. It's sad, but very typical these days with hollywood and media putting so much emphasis on what they think is beautiful. Have confidence in yourself, smile alot, and know you are who God made you. Someone who is always putting themselves down (to get compliments) is never going to be happy.

never put yourself down, and no one is "ugly" - if you keep yourself very clean - even if you have to wash your face twice a day, put on simple face cream like Nivea if your skin is too dry; and if too oily make sure you keep the surface oil free there are thin face tissue paper for this purpose at the drug store -
No one is ugly, tell that person who told you you are ugly that you dont talk to rude people. Continue to keep yourself clean and find nice clothes that you enjoy wearing, make friends with more civilised people...

No you should never put yourself down because of someone else's opinion. You never know... maybe they are jealous or maybe they were in a bad mood and let their pain out on you. You shouldn't go listening to others when they say something negative about you.. Always listen to yourself!

girls who put there selfz down they have a problem. i think that every person grl or guy is pretty in there own way. wether itz on the out side or the inside they are pretty. i have been put down by my own father in i still stand strong and love my self even more than i did before he but me down.so if some1 but some1 eles down itz because they have something about there self that they dont like in the other person has better.
