area of triangle(A)=1/2 *base*height {here * stands for multiplication}
28=1/2 *8*height
28=4*height
height=28/4
= 7 cm

Formula for a triange: A=bh/2

So if A=28 and b=8, then
28=8h/2
56=8h
h=7. The hight is 7 cm
