Is it possible for your uterus to fall out?? Like all the way out thru your body outside? The reason why I ask this is: When I was 15 I had an abortoin. I was only 6 weeks along when I had it. A few weeks later (3 weeks later) this small bloody meat like thing...it was kind of circular...and it was maybe like 1/3 inch wide and 1/2 and inch long...this was also during my period. I had never had anything like this come out of me during my period...so I did not know what to think. Yeah, this was 3 years ago...but still it had me wondering today... Oh and another thing....I've gotten I think atleast 2 or 3 pelvic exams since this happened... when they press down in the uterus area....so the doctor would know right??

No, sweetie. Your uterus can't fall out. You passed a clot of some kind. Perfectly normal.
Body parts can't just "fall" out of you. Everything is connected to something.

I would like to start by saying to all the other women who said your uterus cant fall out. IT CAN my uterus fell out with my placenta after giving birth. I was on life support for 2 days and can no longer have children. Trust your instincts they are always right. Get a second opinion.

No your uterus can not fall out. I'm positive it was remains of the fetus you aborted that they didn't get completely out during your abortion (sad to be asking this in a trying to conceive area). If your uterus was out you would not have a period anymore. I have a friend who had her uterus removed due to problems. It's assinine to think it "just fell" out.

It was probably a blood clot.
Yes the doctor would know if you were missing your uterus.

it was probably just a blood clot. besides i have never heard of someone's uterus falling out. and i am positive if something was missing the doctor would notice it. don't stress yourself out. :)

Believe me..if you had your uterus missing, you would know!! Plus the doctor would know, and would ask you many questions!!

i just think it was the remains of the baby u aborted and yes the doctors will know if theres anything worng, dont stress it unless they tell u something

i had a miscarriage and the same type thing came out of me, i was told it was the baby, and i was between six to eitht weeks.

I agree with Victoria. It sounds like the remains from the abortion you had. I would not worry about it.
