So far as far as theories are concerned the one that comes closest to marry gravity and electromagnetic ,charges,nuclear charges ,tiny force, big force, universal smallest force ,and all forces and energies is a theory called " Quantum Aether Dynamics"
I found most interesting how it relates permitivity and permeability of space to Aether Power.
Its beyond General relativity.
This is the 21st Century physics answer to a Great Unified Energy and Power Theory of the Universe.
So this is how close as you can get.

Probably not. There are so many theories floating around that we need a Grand Unified Theory of which theory to use.

No, We will never have any unified theory bcause if could ever unify concepts in physics then we can predict any thing exactly by just calculating motion equations.
and hence we would also be predicting future and if we ever could do that then we would be doing this in past.
All I want to say that if we can ever find unified theory then we will know why it took too long to find it. Simply if we dont know it right now then we never can know it in future.

Nope, and when we finally think we are close, we won't be cause then we'll find out there's more that we didn't know about. History repeats itself, that's why we need to learn from our mistakes and understand there is never going to a GUT that perfectly describes everything. It was be arrogant to think otherwise. =)

i doubt it. I doubt there is truly one GUT there are probably many theories that apply in different situations and overlap. the combination of these would make up a GUT. that's only my opinion based on what I've read.
