is it possible to recover photos that were lost when we transferred to XP from Windows ME.Have seen companies that offer to recover deleted files .
need advice!

yes there are companys doing that. one of it i know is in bangalore. and they really charge very high around 8,000 to 12,000 Rs. INR

well you could do that if it was even formated... I got a freeware that could search your drives and tell you which ones are recoverable and which ones are not. You can use this to recover your files... mail with a little details and I'll mail you the program.
IM me if you need help on usage of the software, because the GUI is a bit complicated to understand.

there are several programs that can recover them if you have not overwritten the bytes they were written to for under 30.00, I have 2 and they work really well, and they also recover flash memory from cameras
