having broad shoulders are good, they give you a form, and if you are thin, it gives a very elegant bearing; now for the dress, depends if you are "s" shaped or athletic thin, the overall principle is to have a longilene silhouette, get a dress with a deep v shape this creates drama in the shape of the top part of the body - of course how deep a boundice depends on your personal ease when wearing such dresses, if you think the V is too deep, go for a slightly laced translucide thin gauzy ruffles in the inner edge of the V, so that the neck, head becomes a precious event that flows out of the dress, the bottom of the dress should be slim lined - if you are really thin, in fact, you could wear anything - it would be all good.

Halters are not a good idea--neither are strapless dresses. I think something sleeveless, or with a cap sleeve, or fitted long sleeves would work best.
Some people think having broad shoulders looks great, by the way. Think of Jackie Kennedy in her one shoulder dresses. Maybe you should re-think how you describe yourself. Jackie was described as having a gorgeous bone structure. Maybe that's you too?

not strapless wedding dress perhaps a halter to sort of divide your shoulders and give the illusion that they are smaller than they appear. A strapless dress would allow the continuity of the entire shoulder line and make it look bigger.

a halter style is good for de-emphasizing broad shoulders and showing off your back.
off the shoulders would emphasize broad shoulders but on the other hand it would be a good choice if you want to show off your upper body

Avoid halter tops or strapless. Go for something with straps, maybe even cap sleeves? Also try to balance out your top with your bottom. Try a fuller skirt. If you have a skinny skirt with wide shoulders it will just accentuate your widest part.

I hear a halter looks nice on just about anyone. I am not completely sure though. It would probably be best to ask the ladies at the bridal shop...they would know more.

Stay away from "poof shoulders". Maybe a sleeveless or a good "V" neck gown. Congrats:)
