how come when someone says tall dark and handsome, no one ever thinks of an asian? the tallest man in the world is in china, and chinese has olive toned skin and im sure there are handsome asians too

It must have been a stereotype that has its roots a dialog from a movie script.
I think it is a personal preference. You need not be tall, or dark, to be popular with ladies.
On a visit to China, I asked a girl why so many like tall Western men. I figured the answer would be something like, “I want to go to America”. Actually her answer was, “Chinese men are not gentlemen”. I really don’t know if that was just her opinion, or if the idea was common.

Granted the tallest one is in China, most Asians are anything but tall. Asian is thought of (right or wrong) as a "yellow" tone skin. Most Caucasians think all Asians look the same.

thats an issue of race and racism. asian men are desexualized, and emasculated. so when someone thinks of a sexy man (tall dark and handsome) an asian male doesnt come to mind. it sucks for an asian female living in modern society because she doesnt even find her own race as attractive as that of a white or black man. there are plenty of beautiful tall dark and handsome asian men out there its just a pity that society and pop culture has neglected to recognize that. asian men are underrated, theyre like the underground sexpots.

It's probably the tall part. Most asians are not tall. But dark and handsome? Most definately!

In my opinion Chinese are either really short or really tall. The skin can definitly vary depending on the climate they live in and there must be some handsome guys there considering over a billion people live there.

Most Asians are tall dark and hansome.

because if they thought of asians, they would be tall, tan and handsome.
dark tends to be for dark-skinned men like african americans, or dominicans,. or even any dark skinned ethic group.

most asians are short and not dark but yellowish and I'm not atracted to asian men so i cant say i think of them as handsome
