It's actually like a chain reaction. You see, babies that are breastfed not only are held more, but their mothers are more in sinc with their needs, which helps them develop a sence of trust that makes them more confident, more responsive to other's needs, hence probably nicer people.

Don't know...I usually don't ask people who are nice to me if they are breast fed or not...though if I were breast fed every day by a couple of good looking women then I would probably feel a bit nicer.

That's a good question! I know that my kids are both very nice kids, and I breast fed them forever.

However, there is another boy at church who was breastfed just as long and he's really mean. However they have a strong suspicion that he is ADD and ODD.

I'm hoping that it helps since I want my kids to grow up to nice people!

I wonder if it's more the environment rather than the nursing. Maybe people that nurse are more willing to take the extra time with their kids. . . however I think nursing was easier than bottles. I never messed with bottles. I'd rather just have it ready to go when they were thirsty or needed a cuddle.

Perhaps!!! Look at it like this... If you buy a new car, you would want to give it the best best kind of fuel for it to run well and keep running well; if you give it cheap gas it will not be a good car too long. With all due respect to human life!!!! A baby needs breastmilk to grow and operate right. That milk has nutrients in it that cannot be matched by artificial things. Like fruits and vegetables versus chips and cookies. The outcome is obvious.

How the HECK would you ever know who is breast fed and who isn't?? Why would or wouldn't that make them nicer people?

I've heard that babies get health benefits from breast feeding, so long as the mom is putting healthy things into her body. I suspect that healthier babies are happier, so maybe they'd be nicer, and maybe some of that would carry over into adulthood.

I don't know about being nicer, but perhaps they are much healthier people.
