Just asking since MTV will be 25 yrs old tomorrow.
I didn't see MTV until July of 83 and my first video seen was Elton John's "I'm still standing". I was hooked for about 10 yrs.

I was there from the first minute: "Video Killed the Radio Star" by the Buggles. I remember when MTV used to play music videos. Too bad they don't do that much any more...

I saw the first one: "Video Killed the Radio Star" by the Buggles. MTV was great back then. They played intelligent music, and didn't have all the shows for losers they have today. Ironically, it turns out that reality (shows) killed the video star, I guess.

I've seen so many I can't remember. I started watch around 2000, 2001 with my cousin who was in high school at the time. I got a basic understanding of it then but now I understand that they're just a bunch of millionares who keep insulting the older generations.

why trying to rember back to when they had music on mtv is supprisingly fuzzy. I think it would have to be that michal jakson veido where the side walk all lights up as he dances on it and he is all like. She says that I am the one but the kid is not my son. Or maybe beat it. Taht is the knife fighting one right. hmmm
